Gladheart Jory (Gladheart Black Harris x W Nugget’s Cowgirl Up)

Gladheart Jory (2014; 14.3 hands) is the first foal from our stallion, Gladheart Black Harris. She is out of our Triple S Nugget mare, W Nugget’s Cowgirl Up and is a combination of two bloodlines with strong performance records. Her sire is by AMHA Sporthorse Award winner DJJJ Ebony Gold, and her mother, W Nugget’s Cowgirl Up, is by National Champion Reiner, Triple S Nugget. Nugget, who like many of the Triple S horses, is strong in Blackwood Correll/Red Correll breeding—lines that have figure prominently in sport Morgans such as Whippoorwill Ebony and Whippoorwill Dorado (Grand Prix dressage) and Whippoorwill Newmoon (National Champion Reiner).

From the start, Jory already showed an innate ability to work off her hindquarters. She has a strong and correct canter, nice spring at the trot and a forward, ground-covering walk. Her movement, conformation and overall way of going are a nice blend of both parents, and it is not surprise she demonstrates the potential to be an excellent candidate for dressage and Working Equitation.

Also like both her sire and dam, Jory is a people-horse. She is smart, personable and trusting. Easy to work with and interested in new things. She has been well-started under saddle and will continue to be trained, introduced to the trail and potentially competed until sold. She is also an excellent broodmare prospect.

SOLD.
